Matthew William Houlihan Memorial Scholarship

The Matthew William Houlihan Scholarship was established in honor of Matthew Houlihan, Tabor Class of 1999, and is awarded annually to a Tabor senior who exhibits the same characteristics as Matt's unfailingly positive attitude, strong character and scholarship, loyal commitment to classmates, exemplary school citizenship and unselfish devotion to Tabor. The scholarship is renewable each year in the same amount for four years of undergraduate collegiate achievement. A satisfactory level of achievement is defined as a cumulative GPA of 2.5.

The Matthew W. Houlihan Scholarship was established in honor of Matthew Houlihan, Hamilton Class of 2003, and is awarded annually to a Hamilton College upperclassman who presents solid academic achievement (3.0 GPA), exceptional character, positive school citizenship and strong extra-curricular involvement similar to Matt are most likely to be successful. Clear evidence of commitment to classmates and love of school are priorities. The $1,000 scholarship is need-based and is awarded to a senior at convocation each year.
